How does Usssa ranking work? ›

Teams accumulate points throughout the season. These points are used to seed teams in the State Tournament and also in USSSA National Championships. The more tournaments a team participates in and the higher they place, the better seed for the State Tournament and National Championships.

Major and AAA programs are national programs that culminate in a World Series. The AA program is a regional program ran by the participating states that culminates with 'AA' World Series opportunities. The A level is for recreational teams and now offer 'A' level World Series events.

Points are awarded to member teams, based on their order of finish in USSSA Events. With so many of our teams accruing many points over the course of the season, we have decided to put those points to work for our teams!

Theory. Sports ratings systems use a variety of methods for rating teams, but the most prevalent method is called a power rating. The power rating of a team is a calculation of the team's strength relative to other teams in the same league or division.

Typically, points are awarded for each match, with competitors ranked based either on total number of points or average points per match. A special type of group tournament is the Round-robin tournament, in which each player plays against every other player.

Arkansas' baseball program has won six conference championships, two in the Southwest Conference in 1989 and 1990, and four in the Southeastern Conference in 1999, 2004, 2021, and 2023.

Texas leads the series in football and baseball, while Arkansas holds the series lead in basketball and track & field.

It is determined by how your team performs in their assigned class. A team can be moved up and down by USSSA based on how they perform in class. You blow out AA teams and you will be moved up and constantly lose at a level and be moved down. They try to keep teams in their same competitive class.

Is it better to be in AA or AAA baseball? ›

All in all, the major difference between AAA and AA is that the former one has a lot of experienced players, mostly with MLB experience. The later is the league with all the prospects and players to keep an eye on as one day they might develop into future stars in the Majors.
